STAGE 12
Stage 12 begins in the same town it finished in yesterday, Briancon. The riders ride a downhill trending course out of the Alps to Digne-Les-Baines. There are several categorized climbs but nothing more difficult than category 2. The predicted temps are supposed to be much higher and the finish is suited for the sprinters. Look for a Frenchman to attempt a breakaway to steal the stage for his countrymen on Bastille Day.
