This is my first new road bike in over 14 years.  It is built on a 2003 Trek 110 carbon frame which is the lightest they make.  It is the same frame that the U.S. Postal team uses in mountain stages.  It is finished with custom black paint and is covered in multicolored flames.  They even painted my name on it, makes me feel special.  I liked the flames so much that I designed new wheel decals to match the flame job.  These decals are printed on 3-M reflective material with transparent thermal foils so that the entire graphic is reflective at night.  I use a lot of reflective materials when marking my bikes for increased safety when I ride after dark.

The drive train is all Shimano Dura-Ace.  The wheels are Rolf Vector Pros with Michelin Axial Pro Race tires.  The original Rolf skewers have been swapped out with lightweight titanium ones.  It steers with I.T.M. handlebars connected to the fork with a Deda Newton stem.  A Terry Fly saddle presently sits on a Thompson Elite seat post.  This seat post will get replaced by a U.S.E. carbon post when I have some spare change.  Power is applied through a pair of Speedplay X-1 titanium pedals.  Currently the bike weighs 16.6 pounds but I am presently running down a complete set of S.R.P. titanium bolts along with lighter tires.  Just the titanium brake kit saves a total of 92 grams.  After changing out all the steel screws with titanium, seat post, tires and a few other tricks it should weigh in the high 15 pound range.
